Good Friday

There was a service at “Alpha and Omega” on this day. We remember about this day with a special respect to a sacrifice of our Lord.

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life”.
(John 3:16)

We prayed, sang songs, listened to a sermon and thought about the day, when Christ was crucified. It is a special day for us, when our heart is sweetly broken before God’s greatness and His great love to us. Just the understanding of what God had gone through a few thousand years ago, appalls us. In fact He is Son of God, sinless and He suffered for the sins of all people. Just for sinful. He went through the awful sufferings and every beat he got instead of you and me. Sometimes as His daughter I am ashamed for myself and for my life. And thinking about this, each one of us praises God sincerely and ask Him for forgiveness of our sins.

It is very painful for me to watch "The Passion of the Christ" movie. But it shows us Jesus death and that Good Friday clearly. And the most stunning is the way Christ behaves, and the greatness of His love when He looks at people, who crucified Him. And how He begged His Father for forgiveness for faithful and unfaithful people, for those, who betrayed Him and shouted “Crucify Him!”.

In the moments like this it is very important not to be indifferent…
